          Tuk Tuk Thai Cuisine is owned by Bird who moved to the UK in 2014. He is from Chaiyaphum in the north-east of Thailand. As a child, he spent his school holidays helping his aunt at her noodle soup stand in Bangkok. His sister now has her own street-food stand specialising in 'som tam' or spicy papaya salad so street food really does run in his family! When Bird moved to the UK it was always a dream of his to open his own restaurant. Tuk Tuk Thai Cuisine opened in 2020 and specialises in authentic Thai food.

Lampoon is from Lopburi in central Thailand. She has been cooking Thai food for over 50 years! Her speciality is pad Thai and she has created Tuk Tuk Thai Cuisine's signature pad Thai sauce.

Samran is from Ayutthaya in central Thailand but has lived in the UK for over 30 years. She loves Thai snacks and does a fantastic job preparing Tuk Tuk Thai Cuisine's starters and also our famous mango sticky rice!
